The appropriate answer is d. atmospheric particulates. Particulates in the atmosphere does the reverse of greenhouse gases they reflect light back to space therefore giving a cooling effect. Particulates in the atmosphere will cause the temperature to fall. Large supervolcano eruptions that pump millions of tons of particles in the atmosphere have caused global temperatures to fall. All the other substance are greenhouse gases that trap heat and contribute to global warming.
