Why do quasi-experiments tend to have very good construct validity for the independent variable?

Because they use real-world manipulations/experiences.
Quasi-experiments are liable to matters regarding an internal substance because the medication and control groups may not be equal at baseline. In an experimental form, subjects are anyway assigned to groups for distinct levels of medication.
