Small juries are often present during pretrial motions. It is False. It is related to careers in criminal justice. Pretrial motions are motions that are made before the actual trial (after a preliminary hearing), the prosecutor and the defense team make them. An example is a motion to suppress evidence.

A jury is the body of persons legally selected and sworn to inquire into a specific fact and to give a verdict on the matter submitted to them (according to evidence). It is a finder of fact, while the judge has the responsibility of instructing the jury accordingly.
