A musical ensemble is a musical group of people or instruments that work together to preform music.

A. Symphony- INCORRECT is a large ensemble of instruments (ex: the symphony orchestra)

B. Chamber- CORRECT Chamber music is classical music written for a small musical group or ensemble.

C. Piano Sonata- INCORRECT- music composed for a single piano to play. (this is incorrect because one instrument is not an ensemble at all because it is too few in instruments/people)

D. Opera- INCORRECT is only an ensemble if 3 or more opera singers sing together at the same time. This music is not only written for small ensembles though, it also includes duets and solos.
