5+x = The number 5 plus x
5-x = The number 5 minus x
5x = Five times x
5/x = Five divided by x
3/4x + 2 = Three fourths of x plus 2
2 - 3/4x = Two minus three fourths of x
3x + 10 = Three times x plus 10
10x+3= Ten times x plus 3
