In December 2004 a huge iceberg caused a large number of pengium chicks to die of starvation.ice shelvesbroke apart in areas where the air temperature increased. The parents of the penguin were cut off from their food source. How is this an example or temperature as limiting factors

This is a density-independent limiting factor.  No matter how many penguins were there, the ice shelf still would have broken.  Hope this helps!!!
