Vibrio parahaemolyticus

While wound infections are possible, they are not as possible as those infections from the ingestion of the bacteria through the intake of raw and uncooked food. The kinds of seafood that specifically carry the bacteria include oysters and shellfishes derived from brackish sea waster.
The bacteria which occurs in the same family as cholera-causing bacteria, cause gastrointestinal complications. Symptoms of infection include diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps and vomiting.
