The Aryans, a nomadic people that came to India had made for the priests the texts called Vedas. These texts were written in Sanskrit and they represent the oldest scriptures of the Hinduism religion and they are in essence revelations seen by ancient wise man and as such they are regarded as impersonal and above men.
