I would say the correct answer is - The temperance movement achieved its major goal with the passage of Prohibition.
The Temperance Movement was created in order to ban alcohol from America - and obviously, Prohibition prohibited everything that could endanger human health, especially alcohol and such substances. So in a way, the goal of the Temperance Movement was to achieve Prohibition, which lasted from 1920 to 1933.
