In the periodic table of elements, you can found all the elements grouped according to common characteristics.

You have three mine things: lines, columns, and blocks.

Blocks define the sequence in which the electron layers of the elements are filled.

Columns are called groups. The elements of a group have similar electronic configurations and the same amount of electrons on the last layer.

Lines are called periods. Those periods define the number of energy levels of each element.
