During the !960s to the mid 1970s, counterculture has gained momentum as Civil Right Movement grows and would soon later gain and importance due to US interference on Vietnam war. It has also paved way for the rise of the hippie culture which was the reincarnation of the Bohemianism. As the 1970s progress, its influence waned yet it made a lasting impact, including the rise of the ideology of the welfare state. It has also affected much on the fashion and marketing culture due to the rise of styles throughout the 1970s.
