The three main stages of translation are; Initiation, elongation and termination

Translation is a process by which the information contained within an mRNA molecule is turned into a sequence of amino acids that are held together by peptide bonds. Translation occurs in the ribosome and it proceeds in three stages which are; initiation, elongation and termination.
