living in a city of water, dirt, and dust
our home of Egypt is where we must stay
we will never leave, we will never stray
our social developments have pushed us ahead
new machines, new products for our homestead
making political power a higher goal
religion that stays deep in our soul
we believe in our power
and that our gods sit of a higher tower
trust in us, for we are right
we believe by faith, not sight
