How do I say “they can’t do these activities because the weather is bad”

Hi !

They can't do these activities because the weather is bad =

Ils ne peuvent pas faire ces activités parce qu'il //OR//car il // le temps est mauvais

parce que (parce qu') = car = because
the weather is bad = le temps est mauvais (word for word)

but in this sentence as a relative clause we would most commonly say =
il fait mauvais temps
