The genetic information of the daughter cell from mitosis should be identical to that of the parent cell.
In mitosis, the parent cell duplicates the 2 sets of chromosomes before cell division, plus mitosis only involves 1 division instead of 2 that halves the number of chromosomes, so that the daughter cell should have the exact same genetic information with the parent cell, also the other daughter cell too.
Mitosis is important in organisms especially for growth, repair etc.
