The mole and Avogadro’s number are now almost synonymous with each other. We say that one mole of a substance is the amount that contains Avogadro’s number of particles. However, both concepts were developed independently at different times. Analyze the theories and definition of both of these concepts. Then, explain why it is correct to define a mole in terms of Avogadro’s number and vice versa.

Avogardo's number is a constant, named after the scientist Amedeo Avogadro that represents the number of molecules or atoms that are contained in the amount of substance given by one mole. Na= 6.022×1023
Mole on the other hand is
a chemical mass unit, defined to be 6.022 x 1023 molecules, atoms, or some other unit. This is the reason why the mole and Avogadro’s number are now almost synonymous with each other.
