Equation: 2/5 + p = 4/5 + 3/5p

Simplify Both Sides:
p + 2/5 = 3/5p + 4/5

Subtract 3/5p from both sides:
p + 2/5 - 3/5p = 3/5p + 4/5 - 3/5p

2/5p + 2/5 = 4/5

Subtract 2/5 from both sides:
2/5p + 2/5 - 2/5 = 4/5 - 2/5

2/5p = 2/5

Multiply both sides by 5/2

(5/2) * (2/5p) = (5/2) * (2/5)

p = 1

Answer: p = 1

Hope that helps!!! (Answer: Letter Choice (A), p = 1
