What political concerns shaped the first constitutions

First of all, the founding fathers had to think about how to create a document and a government that would be 'of and by the people,' meaning that it had to be created by the people themselves and also cater to all their needs. They also had to create a government that couldn't become too tyrannical or corrupt. All these concerns were evident when they were creating their first constitutions.
