The intolerable acts (option C) is the name given to the series of laws that closed Boston harbor required colonists to put up British soldiers in their homes and allowed British officials accused of the crimes to be tried in Britain.
They were the American Patriot´s term for punitive laws that were passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Bostom Tea Party.
