The answer is -320 ft. by 1920 ft. To solve this problem you need to correctly label and draw a figure to illustrate the given information. And then find the equations to represent the area and perimeter. The equation of the area is quadratic which is graphed will be a prabola opening downward. In order to maximize the area find the y-coordinate of the parabola's vertex. Used the formula of vertex to find the x-coordinate and then substitutes it back into the area formula.
