The first thing to do when encountering a patient with internal bleeding is to get the person to a hospital. Internal bleeding can be fatal if they aren't stopped. If you're waiting for an ambulance, lay the person down if they experience dizziness or light-headedness. If they pass out, lay them on their side so they won't choke in the event that they should vomit.
