I believe that Psychiatrists represent about 15-20 percent of the doctors suspended from medicaid for fraudulent practices. Their invoices or bills are sent in regards to hours rather than a true task or exam performed by a different type of doctor. I am sure that many Psychiatrists send invoices stating that more hours of "practice" were completed than actually were completed.
