Fossil evidence , mountain ranges for example the range between Buenos Aires, Argentina, match mountain ranges in South Africa, sea floor spreading which is what can be used to describe different rock layers at the sea floor , Pangea, Gondwanaland and Laurasia etc etc

There were bones from dinosaurs, the exact same on two different continents, giving him a theory of the continental drift. Plus if you look at a map, you will notice that some continents fit ether like a puzzle, for example, Africa and South America.
