Because JKL and MNP are similar we know that:

`(25)/(30)=(20)/(4x-4)`.
We can then solve for
`x` as follows:


`(25)/(30)=(20)/(4x-4)`

`100x-100=600`

`100x=700`

`x=(700)/(100)`

`x=7`

And the total side length is then:

`4x-4=4(7)-4=28-4=24`
Which lets us check our work:

`(25)/(30)=(20)/(24)`

`(5)/(6)=(5)/(6)`
