Each phospholipid has a head that contains a phosphate group and a tail that is pure lipid.

A plasma membrane CONTAINS protiens (such as a transmembrane or integral protien) but the phospholipid itself doesn't include a protien.
Hydrophobic means that it will hide away from water, not go towards it.
