Ethnomedicine is a known traditional practice of medicine by the ethnic or indigenous people. It incorporates the science of botany and anthropology to create an organic, more effective and low cost drug to the consumers. Since this is practiced thru ethnicity, the practice is passed down thru oral tradition.
