Among the renowned scientists in the 1700’s, Carolus Linnaeus was one of the renowned as he created a system of naming and classifying organisms. Specifically, he was able to create this system in 1758 which is cited in his manuscript entitled Systema Naturae. With this significant contribution in Science, he was named as the Father of Taxonomy.
