Explanation:

slope = -1/2.

y-intercept = 1.

slope-intercept form : y = 1/2x + 1.

standard form : x + 2y = 2.

In standard form, there can't be any fraction. So, you have to get rid of it by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of -1/2 which is -2. then that's what you get. Your final answer will have ax as negative which is not allowed so you multiply all sides with -1 and are left with x + 2y =2.

the slope intercept form would be y= -1/2x + 1 and to get it into standard form all you have to do is move the -1/2 x to the other side, making it 1/2x + y = 1
