There are five domains of child development: fine and gross motor skills, speech and language development, social and emotional development, and cognitive development. A preschooler will ask "why?" constantly because they're trying to understand the causal relationships in the world. The child's language development and vocabulary will grow at this stage. At this stage, kids learn to follow rules to games as well and they may be able to play hide and seek or other simple games.
