The way a character or person views the world in a literary piece of work is called perspective. Perspective carries the fellings and opinions about a situation in a text. Readers can detect the tone (happiness, anger, melancholy, etc) through the choice of words and this way perceive if the perspective is in favor or against the ideas presented in the dialogs or speech of the character.
