The main functions of leaders in this approach is that they are primarily focusing on how to get their team to adapt to change. Leaders are supposed to prime their subordinates (team leads, managers, employees) for intense changes and prep them on how they should handle such changes. This method or approach to leadership is different because the leader is supposed to actually encourage adaptation by the employees.
