16.45 - 6.4 = 10.05kg of flour to make 15 batches of scones
1 batch = 10.05/15
= 0.67kg of flour.

Answer:

.67 kg of flour in each batch of scones.

Explanation:

In order to calculate this you first need to calculate how much flour does does Adam still has after he uses 6.4 to make the Hot Cross Buns, this is done by withdrawing from the total flour the flour he used:

16.5-6.4=10.05

Now we know he has 10.05 kg, so you need to divide that by the number of batches of scones:

Flour in each batch=10.05/15=0.67 kg

So there will be 0,67 kg in each batch of scones.
