Charles Coughlin was a Priest in Detroit that had a radio program. In the beginning, he supported Franklin D. Roosevelt "New Deal" program that tried to help the Americans Citizens after the consequences of the Great Depression. But when President Roosevelt opposed to the nationalization of the banking system, father Coughlin became a severe critic of the President and his program. Father Coughlin formed the National Union for Social Justice and became very popular among American citizens.
