True

Swamps can occur seasonally.

Swamps are soft wetlands that are covered by water (freshwater, seawater or brackish water) either permanently or seasonally. Swamps can occur seasonally as some are dry during drought seasons and wet during the period of heavy rainfall. Swamps are usually found along large rivers and lake shores and may have a growth of certain kinds of trees but are unfit for agricultural or pastoral purposes.
