Nine lead cubes of side 3cm could be made from a lead of side 27cm. This is because 3+3=6. 6+3=9. 9+3=12. 12+3=15. 15+3=18. 18+3=21. 21+3=24. 24+3=27. Therefore, three goes into twenty-seven a total of nine full times.
