Capillary action is when water is being sucked through a thin tube. Adhesion is the attraction of one molecule to a different type of molecule while Cohesion is a molecule attracted to the same kind of Molecule. Capillary action can be related to Adhesion because the water is sticking to the sides of the tube, going forward
