Women were a very important role in the American revolution they were given opportunities when there weren't enough people to go to war. They helped out by cooking for many of the army soldiers and they as well served as maids. Women also helped with the patriot and created an organization which they were all part of. They were also very well known for helping many of the soldiers because they were also nurses
