i remember this from my ELA class so a denotative meaning is something's literal meaning like the denotation of a pineapple would be a sweet fruit whereas its connotative meaning would be like i dunno something big and juicy. Anyway now that you know what it means i think you would be able to guess it. Therefore the answer is A. the devastation from the hurricane can still be seen
