i would say that Juan is using conflict theory that a social revolution is necessary for such things as a more equitable distribution of wealth, to acquire ownership of land and for increased liberty. Most of these things were achieved in the French Revolution and all were achieved in the American Revolution against the oppressive British colonialists.
