I need help thanks so much!!!! You dont have to do both.

1.Bettina’s age is three times Melvina’s age. If 20 is added to Melvina’s age and 20 is subtracted from Bettina’s age, their ages will be equal. How old is each now?
2.A car needs 3 gallons of gas for 70 miles. How much gas would it need for 105 miles?

1: Bettina's 60, and Melvina's 20.
2: 4.5 gallons

Number one: Bettina is 60 and Melvina is 20
Number two: 4.5 gallons because you would divide 70 by three then multiply it by 105
