The Americans were introduced to the Arabs in the nineteenth century through the World's Fair or Universal Exposition. The impact of the Arab culture became obvious during the turn of the century. World Fairs were the best showcases of peaceful international contest in the 19th century and 20th century. The Arabs exhibited a range of products that were rarely seen the western countries. Many of the Arab groups that were invited by the US were photographed for newspapers and journals because of the showmanship and enthusiasm that they showed during the exposition.
