When blood flow is cut off from the brain and damaged nerve pathways, a condition called BRAIN ISCHEMIA occurs. It is a condition where insufficient blood flow occurs in the brain due to any disease or stroke. It is also known as cerebral ischemia and cerebrovascular ischemia. It also leads to poor oxygen sypply to the brain cells and interfere with the metabolic functions of the brain.
