Is gatsby in the same class as Wilson? if not is he closer to Wilson’s class, or to tom? Where does Meyer Wolfsheim stand in all of this?

In terms of social division, Gatsby and Wilson are from the same class, the working-class. However, if it is on the terms of personality and identity, Gatsby can be considered to be more in the same class as Tom. Gatsby and Tom are men who are driven and would do anything to get what they want. Meyer Wolfsheim's was a character in the novel whose sole purpose was to shed light on Gatsby's dubious past and Nick's biased nature.
