The client with rheumatoid arthritis tells the nurse, i have a friend who took gold shots and had a wonderful response. why did my health care provider not let me try that? which response by the nurse would be most appropriate?

The most appropriate response from the nurse should be this: EVERY PERSON IS DIFFERENT, WHAT WORKS FOR ONE CLIENT MAY NOT ALWAYS BE EFFECTIVE FOR ANOTHER.
The nurse should make the client to understand that, the therapeutic effects of drugs is different for different individuals as a result of the numerous factors which contributes to the effects of a particular drug on an individual.
