Sexuality is not always seen as a power struggle. Many times, females take the dominant role in a relationship, which goes against many of the arguments in the conflict-theorist approaches. In addition, there are many relationships that have an egalitarian approach to sexuality: these relationships are very balanced in their power structure and, again, goes against the concept of a power struggle.
