These pattern of lines, sometimes referred to as electric field lines, point in the direction that a positive test charge would accelerate if placed upon the line. As such, the lines are directed away from positively charged source charges and toward negatively charged source charges.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The path traveled by an isolated positive charge in an electric filed is defined as the electric field lines.

They originates from positive charge and terminates at negative charge.

The crowdness of the electric filed lines gives an idea of strength of electric filed at that place.

More be the crowdness of electric filed lines, more be the electric field strength at that place and vice versa.
