Describe how a soil particle moves downhill during the freeze-thaw process.

It would freeze up during the freeze process and become part or the ice that is covering the ground. Then as the ice begins to thaw it will run down hill with the water that is created from the ice. Then it would freeze again with the next cycle and move down hill again when it thaws out. This would continue until the particle reaches a block or the bottom of the hill and thus stopping the process.
