so, if we take 1545 to be the 100%, what is 47.20 in percentage off of it anyway?

\bf \begin{array}{ccll} amount&\%\\ \text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\ 1545&100\\ 47.20&p \end{array}\implies \cfrac{1545}{47.20}=\cfrac{100}{p}\implies p=\cfrac{47.20\cdot 100}{1545}
