How are morphemes similar to sentences?

Morphemes are meaningful unit of a word ( such as cat or dog...) or a element
( such as the s- at an end of cats... ). Sentences are a set of words typical of setting a subject conveying a statement or such.

what i'm saying is both are similar...

A morpheme is a meaningful unit of language that cannot be further divided. It is the smallest grammatical unit in a language. A sentence is a set of words that is complete in itself.
