When is it appropriate to use e-mail rather than the postal service to send a letter of complaint?

Sample Response: It would be appropriate to send your complaint via e-mail if the company or service has a website and that’s the method they suggest you use to contact them regarding concerns or complaints. Otherwise, it’s best to send the letter through the mail.

When the company lists it's email on it's site, open for questions, suggestions and complaints.
